Road To Redemption: Wizkid And EME Music In Talks For Reconciliation

(Singing) When I grow older, I will be stronger, they’ll call me Wizkid, just like a waving flag.

Now that’s an adulterated version of a song that was inspired by this report:

Sources close to EME Music reveal that there is hope for reconciliation between estranged EME parties; the ‘Boss’ Banky W, and the independent upstart Wizkid. If everything hits the plan, Wizkid and EME will step together in mutual agreement.

The source made a revelation that lawyers of both parties have been engaged in deep negotiations over the past weeks in bid to create an improved contract for Wizkid.

“Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn’t a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn’t increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid.” The source said

The only presently revealed sneek-peek into the contract says that EME Music will not get a dime from all of Wizkid’s international deals.

Hot Combo! Wale And Wizkid To Combine In New Album

Mix it, old and new…

Nigerian-born rapper Wale has announced that Nigerian thoroughbred Wizkid will feature on his forthcoming album ‘The Gifted’ scheduled for release on June 25, 2013.

The Maybach Music Group ensign revealed this a few weeks ago on Twitter while dropping some hints on how his new album would sound.

‘Best believe I got some new music for that green white green on my new album.. Ask @wizkidayo‘, @Wale wrote.

This comes as a bit of a follow-up on Wale’s declaration that Wizkid is his favourite African artiste.

The pair must have done some lyrical romance in the studio last year; because Wizkid also disclosed in an interview with OK! Magazine that he had enlisted Wale’s artistry on his upcoming mixtape.

We The Best! Nigeria Is The 9th Most Visited Country In Africa

Well, almost the best…

Forget about the Boko Boys and their bombing campaign, pay no heed to the tales of people who say we aren’t tourist friendly, but our Nigeria, our darling Naija is one of the best 10 places people think of when they want to have a taste of Mama Africa and all her wondrous gifts of nature.

Maybe it’s the beautiful ladies with their elegant bodies which feature the classic high-rounded butt (that alone is a tourist attraction). Maybe it’s the extreme weather conditions, or the admirable cultural and landscape heterogeneity with which this country is blessed with, but Nigeria is the ninth most visited country by foreigners in Africa.

With 1.4 million arrivals, according to findmehotel.net, Nigeria is also the leading destination of foreigners in West Africa and is more favoured by usual tourist destinations such as Kenya and Namibia. In 2010, a survey by doitinafrica.com had come up with similar results, and now 3 years down the road, irrespective of the inherent dynamics of our national existence, the result still holds true.

According to the available statistics, Kenya is the 10th most visited country in Africa, with 1.39 million visitors. Namibia is the 11th with 980,000 people.

Egypt in North Africa tops the list with 14 million visitors. It is followed by Morocco with 9.29 million. South Africa is third with 8.07 million, while Tunisia is fourth with 6.9 million visitors.

Zimbabwe and Mozamique follow in that order with 2.24million and 2.22 million visitors yearly.

Algeria with 1.91 million visitors and Botswana with 1.55 million come sixth and seventh.
