(PICZ) Most Expensive Cake Valued At $52 Million

On 3rd of March 2013, the worlds most expensive cake will be unveiled at the BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena in Liverpool.
The six tier high dessert cake is one-and-a-half metres tall, decorated with more than 2000 diamonds – the equivalent of 2046 carats, and valued at £32.4million( $52 million).
Bespoke jewellers Russell and Case who are based on the aptly named Bling Bling Street in Liverpool collaborated with CAKE in Chester to make the glamorous showpiece.
Their creation has beaten the former US record holder by Mimi So Jewellers and cake designer Nahid La Patisserie Artistique which was valued at $20m.
The cake will be showcased at the National Gay Wedding Show on the 3rd of March before it is served to attendees

The growth of Hip-hop in Nigeria has witnessed a lot of trail blazers and game changers that have stepped up the game with differentcontroversial forms; however, no matter how the story is being told, the name Ólaitan Olanipekun aka DAGRIN will always matter.

The name still remains strong in the foundation of Nigeria’s hip hop game especially the Yoruba rap scene.

It’s been three years since he passed on, but “oloro” as fondly called by his associates is still with us.

So in memory of keeping the name alive,KOSOFO ENTERTAINMENT is bringing  DAGRIN back from the grave with “BLOOD MONEY MIX TAPE”. This Mixtape was a brain child of the late rapper whose dreams was shattered in a fatal accident that claimed his life three years ago.

The BLOOD MONEY MIX TAPE comprises 11 tracks, 4 skits ,samples of his previous works and some of his never heard of works.

A documentary and never seen before video clips and stories from close people will also be released on April 22 2013.

The Project brought and packed by WILDEYE MEDIA KONCEPTS and speared headed by KOSOFO ENTERTAINMENT will exhume what most people don’t know about the late rapper.

 

The Mixtape will be produced by skilled producer  and late rapper’s close friend  SOSSICK and also on board is Nigeria’s  Beat Master and Mix Wizard LAY-LOW.

 

Different artiste from Nigeria,UK and the USA are already on board for the Project.

How Varsity Student Was Killed During Cult Initiation ~ Police

The Bayelsa State police command yesterday announced the killing of a 200- level student of petro chemical engineering of Niger Delta University, Ammassoma, Mr. Tariebi Tyger, during a forceful initiation exercise by some unidentified cult
group.

According to the police, the 21 years old undergraduate was wooed by the cultists but he turned them down. He was later forcefully taken from his hostel on the 15th of December and an initiation exercise done.

The police public relations officer, Mr. Fidelis Odunna, told LEADERSHIP that though the police had arrested persons suspected to have taken part in the murder, it gathered that the victim passed out during the heavy beating meted out during the initiation and died.

“They forcefully took the boy from his hostel to initiate him into a cult and in the process, the boy passed out. They threw his corpse into the river. We are going to arraign them very soon”, he said.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the deceased was the son of a police officer in the state.

The grandfather of the deceased, Mr. Lucky Daniel, told our correspondent in Yenagoa that Tyger was abducted from his hostel at Amasoma in Southern Ijaw local government area by some suspected cultists.

He said Tyger was bundled to a house in Otuan on December 15, 2012 where he was murdered by the cultists who later threw his corpse into the river.

“The cult group gruesomely murdered him, tied his legs with block sinkers and threw it into the river”, he said.

He said his parents suspected a foul play few days after Tyger left them in Yenagoa on December 10 to resume his studies in the university.

He said that efforts by his parents to reach the 21 years old undergraduate on his telephone proved abortive forcing them to begin a search operation.

“His parents became worried and swung into action to locate him in his hostel accommodation. To their chagrin and utmost disappointment, they observed that the door of his room was broken but he was nowhere to be found.

“In their frantic efforts to locate their missing son, the parents contacted his erstwhile room mate who was his closest associate at the time. He joined the parents as a sympathiser in the search”, he said.

Daniel who identified himself as the maternal grandfather of the deceased said the matter was later reported to the police

Snoop Dogg Owes Over $546,000 In Unpaid Taxes

Whether Snoop Dogg is a Lion, Rastafarian or reincarnated, he is still Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. to the Internal Revenue Service. On February 8th, the IRS hit Snoop D-O-double-G with a tax lien claiming the rapper owes $546,270.29 in unpaid back taxes according to documents obtained by TMZ.

The documents claim the ”Gin & Juice” MC owes $101, 952.44 in unpaid taxes for 2009 and $444,317.85 in 2011. One possible reason for Snoop’s back rent could be him paying back another tax lien from the IRS back in 2011 for roughly $467,000 in back taxes dating back to 2008.

Forbes reports that Snoop Dogg raked in $14 million in 2011 and $11 million in 2009 while recently only pulling in $8 million in 2012. With a new documentary arriving on March 15th and his 12th studio album expecting a Spring release(with the DVD of the documentary) it looks like Snoop’s lucrative 2013 could partially go to Uncle Sam.
